How to get here?
Tarifa has 3 airports close by: Jerez (126km), Sevilla (217km) and Málaga (152km).
If you are arriving from Málaga airport, take the A7 in the direction of Cádiz. There are two options: the toll motorway (AP-7) or the free motorway (A7). Once you arrive in Algeciras, follow the signs for Tarifa, on the N340.
From Seville and Jerez, take the A4 in the direction of Cádiz, take the exit 84, and continue towards Algeciras. When you pass Algeciras, take the N340 towards Tarifa.
If you are arriving by bus from Málaga or Seville, there is one bus company which will take you to Tarifa. Follow this link for more details.
Even though there are buses that can get you to Tarifa, we recommend that you hire a car if there is any possibility. Camping areas, many of the hotels and beaches for practising kiting and windsurfing are outside of Tarifa and there are only buses which serve these areas, during July and August. Also, if you would like to visit local areas of natural beauty such as Punta Paloma, Bolonia, Zahara de la Sierra etc the buses are extremely limited. The result being everything will be easier if you have your own car.
