If you are a food lover, in Tarifa you will find an unbelievably wide variety of tasty dishes on offer. Local Tuna is one of the most famous dishes on offer in the bars and restaurants in Tarifa. You will never forget it!
Tarifa is also well known for its fantastic beaches. Los lances beach is divided into two zones, the south which is close to the town and the north which is wilder and more rural. Los Lances beach is a golden, fine sand beach where the wind blows hard which is ideal for kitesurfing and windsurfing. Close to this beach you can find the Alconorcales National Park, a paradise for cyclists and hikers.
Tarifa is only 14 kilometres from Africa. Which offers some stunning views of the Africa continent. Come and meet Tarifa!

HOW TO GET THERE
The easiest ways to get to Tarifa from the airports are: by bus or with a rented car
If you come from the Malaga airport take the the toll motorway (AP-7) or the free motorway (A7)
Once you arrive in Algeciras, follow the signs for Tarifa, on the N340
From Seville and Jerez, take the A4 in the direction of Cádiz, take the exit 84, and continue towards Algeciras. When you pass Algeciras, take the N340 towards Tarifa
If you are arriving by bus from Málaga or Seville, there is one bus company called Comes which will take you to Tarifa
We recommend that you hire a car if there is any possibility
Camping areas, many of the hotels and beaches for practising kiting and windsurfing are outside of Tarifa and there are only buses which serve these areas, during July and August
